Living Room Refresh
A living room with damaged walls repaired and finished with gray paint, white baseboards, wood-look LVP and recessed lights.

What we walked into
This living room was in rough shape. The walls were damaged, and the room was cluttered and worn. None of it was structural, but nobody wanted to spend time in there.
Repair first, then finish
The job was a straightforward interior refresh, done in the right order. We repaired the damaged wall areas first, because paint will not hide a bad wall. That kind of patching is covered on our drywall installation and repair page.
Once the walls were sound, we painted them gray and finished the baseboards in white. Gray walls against white trim give the room clean edges. Our interior and exterior painting page explains how we handle prep.
We replaced the floor with wood-look luxury vinyl plank. LVP holds up well in a main living space and gives an even wood look from wall to wall. The flooring installation page explains what goes into a good install.
Recessed lights in the ceiling finished the room. They spread light evenly across the space with nothing hanging down.
The result
The damaged, cluttered room is now an empty, clean living room. It has smooth gray walls, white baseboards, a wood-look floor and recessed lights overhead.
No walls moved and nothing was rebuilt. It was wall repair, paint, flooring and lighting, done carefully. That was enough to make a worn room usable again.
