Privacy policy

This policy explains how Solomon Construction & Remodeling LLC ("Solomon", "we", "us") handles information collected through solomonremodeling.com (the "site"). We keep it short because we collect very little.

Information we collect

• Information you send us. When you request an estimate we collect what you enter: your name, phone number, email (optional), town, the type of project and any details you add, plus the page you sent the form from.
• Calls, texts and emails. If you contact us directly, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever you choose to send, such as project photos.
• Technical information. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to deliver the site securely and to protect it from abuse. We do not use advertising cookies.
• Embedded Google Map. The footer of each page shows a map from Google Maps. It loads only when you scroll down to it, and when it does, Google receives your IP address and browser information and may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy. We don't receive any information from the map.
• Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site: which pages are viewed, how people arrive, and when someone sends a form, taps our phone number or starts a text. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives your browser and device information and IP address, which Google uses to produce these reports for us under Google's privacy policy. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalization, so this data isn't used for advertising. You can block Google Analytics with your browser settings or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
• Visit statistics. We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It does not use cookies, and we see only totals, such as page views and the region visits come from, not who you are.

How we use it

We use your information only to respond to your request, prepare an estimate, schedule and carry out work you ask for, keep records of our jobs, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Text messages

If you check the box on our form or text us first, we may text you about your estimate or project. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. We do not share mobile numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties for marketing.

AI design preview photos

If you use our AI design preview, the room photo you upload (reduced in size in your browser, which also removes camera location data) is sent over an encrypted connection to Google's Gemini API, a paid service that creates the concept image. Google processes it to return the image and does not use it to train its models under the paid service terms. The original photo, the concept image and the details you enter are emailed to us so we can follow up on your request. We don't publish your photos or use them in advertising without your written permission. Please don't upload photos that show people.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, such as our website host, the email service that delivers form submissions to us and, for the AI design preview only, Google's Gemini API, and only as needed for those services. The embedded Google Map described above is provided by Google directly. We may also disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep estimate requests and project records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet tax, warranty-record and legal requirements, then delete them.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what information we have about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can opt out of texts at any time. Depending on where you live, including Maryland, you may have additional rights under state privacy law. Security

The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are transmitted encrypted. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes and contact
