How the AI design preview works
The preview is created by an AI image model. It keeps the walls, windows, doors and camera angle from your photo and changes the finishes: cabinets, counters, tile, fixtures, flooring, lighting and paint, in the style you pick. Because it works from a single photo, it can't see behind walls, measure the room or know what's under the floor, so treat it as a mood board for your own space rather than a plan.
Turning a concept into a real project is where we come in. At the free estimate we measure the room, check the framing, plumbing and electrical locations, and price the layout and materials you actually want. Questions about the design preview
Is the AI design preview free?
Yes. It is free and there is no obligation. You get a concept image of your own room in the style you choose, and we follow up to talk through what it would take to build.
Is the preview what my remodel will look like?
It is a concept for inspiration, created by AI from your photo. It is not a photo of our work, a design plan or a price. Real materials, layout, code requirements and cost are confirmed during the free estimate.
What happens to the photo I upload?
Your photo is sent securely to the AI image service we use to create the preview, and it's emailed to us with your request so we can follow up. We don't publish it. See our privacy policy for details.
What kind of photo works best?
A bright, level photo of the whole room taken from a corner or doorway, with lights on and clutter cleared. Please do not include people. JPG, PNG or WebP files up to 6 MB work.
How many previews can I make?
Up to six per phone number per day, so you can compare several styles. Attempts that fail don't count. If you want to see more, text us your photo and we'll talk it through.
