Blue Marble-Look Bathroom Remodel
Large-format blue marble-look tile from tub to ceiling, a white hex floor, black-framed sliding glass doors and a vanity with an arched mirror.

A bold tile, set flat
The walls in this bathroom went to large-format blue marble-look tile, carried around the tub and up toward the ceiling. Big tiles show every lip and uneven joint, which is why we set them with leveling clips the whole way up. The floor went to a white hex tile so the room still reads bright.
Built around the tub
We set a new tub first and tiled down to it, with a recessed niche framed into the wall for bottles. The window inside the tub area was trimmed and tiled around rather than left as a weak spot. Black-framed sliding glass doors close it in and pick up the black of the fixtures.
The finished room
The vanity wall carries the same tile, with a white vanity, a black faucet, an arched black mirror and a three-light glass-shade fixture above it. Every surface in the room ties back to two colors: the blue of the stone-look tile and the black of the hardware.
